How to download Opportunity Explorer CSV files
Updated October 6, 2026 · SellThisNext
Prepare ASIN View, Search Terms and Unmet Demand exports for the SellThisNext checker, with folder organization and troubleshooting.
Start with a consistent research snapshot
Choose the marketplace you plan to sell in and search one specific product idea in Seller Central’s Product Opportunity Explorer. Check the niche or product set before exporting: a broad result for “bike accessories” should not be compared directly with a narrow result for “ebike display.” Record the marketplace, export date and the time window displayed by Amazon. Keep those settings consistent across the ideas you want to compare.
Download the files the checker expects
Open ASIN View and use the available download control to save the product table as CSV. This is the required file for scoring an idea in this checker. Where available, export Search Terms for keyword context and Unmet Demand for the separate demand check. Labels and export availability can vary by marketplace and account; use the current Amazon interface and do not assume every table is available. A screenshot or PDF cannot replace the CSV input.
Keep one folder per product idea
Create a folder named after each idea, such as “ebike display,” and put its exports together. Keep the original CSV headers and values. Do not combine several ideas into a single spreadsheet or overwrite one export with another. Select the folders together or zip the parent folder, then use the checker’s file, folder or ZIP control. Save an untouched copy so you can repeat the analysis later.
Resolve missing or unreadable results
If no ideas appear, confirm the input is a CSV export rather than an Excel workbook renamed to .csv. Check that the ASIN View file is included, the ZIP contains the actual files, and the export has data rows. If columns were edited, download a fresh copy. Optional files add context but do not replace the required product export. Try one idea on its own to isolate a file issue before loading the full batch.
Check the output before comparing ideas
Confirm the idea names and marketplace match your notes. Missing optional data means less evidence, not zero demand. If your export has changed format and the checker cannot read it, keep the original and contact SellThisNext through the site. Treat the resulting scores as screening estimates, then verify the shortlist against current listings and product costs.
